• Responsible for the Strict implementation of USAID's and the Company’s Safety and Loss Prevention Program including the Construction Health And Safety Plan, Hazard Identification Plan, USAID's Health, Safety & Environmental Procedures, Compliance to the requirements of USAID to ensure that everything is in accordance to US Occupational Health and Safety (OSHA), US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) standards; • Oversees the implementation of Security & Safety Operations such as Safety & Security Surveys, Fire-Fighting Equipment, Vehicle & Equipment Inspection, Admin & Facilities Service Providers, Security Providers, Security Audit, Accident/Incident Investigations and CCTV Operations. • Provide Safety Orientation to all Employees; • Makes sure all workers in the jobsite are wearing the required Personal Protective Equipment in compliance with OSHA Standards; • Conducts toolbox meetings; • Recommend preventive and corrective Programs and Systems for the proper implementation of the Loss Prevention Program; • Act as the Representative on Safety Matters for Meetings, Deliberations and Conferences; • Perform frequent jobsite inspections to ensure safe working methods are being followed; • Preparing and Submitting all the required reports to USAID and/or Clients to comply with Project requirements; • Makes sure that Excavation, Welding & Grinding, Working at Heights, Lifting, Delivery, the use of Ladders and Housekeeping are done in a safe manner; • Assists in Traffic Control around the Site; • Assists in implementing Emergency drills and evacuation plans for fire, earthquake and medical scenarios in Accordance with US OSHA & FEMA standards.; • Inspects the conditions of the fire alarms, fire extinguishers and fire hoses; • Inspects the working condition of the VHF/UHF handheld communications equipment for emergency purposes; • Inspects the Camp sleeping areas as to their cleanliness; and • Looks after Safety Concerns regarding Office Safety to include Checking the Exits are Free and Clear of Obstructions, Checking and Maintaining Smoke Detectors, Fire Alarms, Fire Extinguishers, Fire Extinguisher Mountings, Fire-Fighting Drums, Fire Buckets, Water Quality, Smoking Shelters, Signages, Housekeeping, Gates and Perimeter Fences; • Closely oversees the assembly, disassembly and use of Supported & Suspended Scaffolds.--
