• Conduct feasibility studies for debottlenecking for process facilities. Prepare conceptual and detailed process engineering designs and process specifications • Carry out process simulations and optimization studies for projects; prepare PFD, H&M balances, develop P&ID’s, equipment selection and sizing, pressure relief system calculations and hydraulic calculation.
• Finished assigned engineering projects in accordance with company specifications and within schedule & budget limitations, coordinating activities of engineering team, contractors and vendors. • Follow up the projects and all necessary process design functions required for conceptual design studies, FEED development and detail engineering to design /specify process equipment for oil and gas production facilities. • Follow up procurement, project implementation to operations and commissioning supports. • Provides an optimum and sound technical decision considering all possible hazards and necessary safeguards. Ensures safe, economic and technically sound decisions in all project phases. • Function as key member of contact with Designers, consultants, architects, main contractors, Sub-contractors and suppliers. • Develops Scope of Work and Terms of Reference for process engineering activities for assigned projects. Also participates in preparing Project Identification document. • Reviews technical bids submitted by consultants and equipment vendors. • Liaise with engineering consultants during the conceptual, basic & detailed design phases of the project. • Liaise with other groups on the establishment & updating of process engineering standards, design philosophies. • Responsible for the following process activities: 1) - Review P&ID’s and all other process documents & DWGs. 2) - Participates in Value Engineering, HAZID, HAZOP and safety reviews. 3) - Carry out process simulations for all the plant. 4) - Carry out plant operation optimization. • Ordering equipments, materials and follow up procurement phase. • Follow-on engineering services during construction phase to ensure that the projects are successfully concluded. • Join the commissioning team to prepare commission procedure and commission the equipment successfully. • Attend site/office meetings with Designers, consultants, architects, main contractors, Sub-contractors and suppliers. • Responsible for overall aspects of management of sub-contractors. • Responsible for monthly progress claims and project costing. • Follow up plan work schedule and delivery of equipment to site. • Responsible for all aspects of site safety. • Assist implementing project controls tools in accordance with established standards and procedures.--
