In November 2012, Iran Group of Surveyors (IGS) became provider of consultation services to all the construction, maintenance and rehabilitation projects in Khark Island (One of the biggest oil export facilities of the world). As a construction project engineer, my responsibilities was participating on all parts of projects from initial document production to supervision of ongoing tasks and accepting completed works. I was involved in piping, pipeline, oil storage tanks and offshore jetty projects.
My general responsibilities were: • Cooperation in the phase of contract negotiations. • Cost estimating, scheduling and provision of tender document for construction and maintenance projects. • Review and approval of joint history files and technical data bases. • Review and approval of MTOs to make sure that all the needed materials would be delivered to construction site on time. • Review of construction drawings. • Presentation of report on projects progress . • Presence in several technical meetings per week on all the ongoing projects. • Preparation of punch lists and supervision of the process of accepting the completed work.--

The aim of this project was to construct four, storage tanks (one million barrels each) and related mechanical, electrical and civil facilities. Pars Kayhan was the PC contractor of the project.
My general responsibilities were: • Develop database by Excel software to extract all the statistical information needed in mechanical technical office. • Prepare work break down structure (WBS). • Review and analysis and approval of all the technical documents and drawings prepared by the designer company. • Review and analysis of fabrication and installation processes and prepare technical queries. • Preparation of fabrication and erection procedures. • Review and approval of shop drawings and As-Built drawings using Auto Cad software program. • Preparation of technical correspondences. • Preparation of monthly and weekly construction plans and resource allocation. • Holding daily coordination meetings with site technicians and technologists. • Supervise and inspect the installation process at construction site to ensure that the job is done within projects technical, time and budget limits.--

I was project engineer in production of 9 band conveyor belt for Khuzestan Cement Factory, steel structure equipment for Hegmatan Cement Factory and mechanical equipment for Arfa and Fulad Kaveh Steel Factories.
