Project Description: ESSD is Enterprise Solid State Drives group which involves in firmware development for SSD’s and development of automation scripts to check firmware functions. Validating the firmware log pages, mode pages and other functions for different customers are being done by Niagara tool (WD proprietary) and IO load/stress testing are done using OakGate tool.

Project Description: SSES is a Smart Storage Engineering Services group which involve in development of automation framework for smart component testing (which installs windows/sles/rhel os continuously & upgrade/downgrades controller firmware). It also involves automation framework development of basic raid configuration functions with input out validation. OS deployment on SUT is being done by utilizing integrated Lights Out (iLO) interface which uses RESTful api.
Responsibilities: Developed continuous OS development (HP customized windows/sles/rhel OS) in iLO 4 RESTful API & in iLO 5 RedFish API which uses JSON/XML. Also the framework updates the test result in HP Quality Center. Developed Setparams module which discovers all available controllers in SUT with their physical drives & logical drives and dynamically modifies the input profile for the raid config scripts. Developed raid config module to to create/delete array/lun, add/remove drive, modify array/lun/pd & show array/lun/pd. Developed fio module to run load on newly create luns for performance testing. Involved in writing design document for all the modules developed. Acted as a Scrum Master to define Product backlog and Sprint backlog for a particular sprint. Division of tasks to sub tasks were done in sprint meeting and provided valuable comments retrospect meeting. Sub tasks creation was done in Jira and Review board was used to send the code for review.--
