I worked as a general medical technologist at Chong Hua Hospital in Cebu City for two years and a half. It is a tertiary hospital and an accredited hospital of JCI. It is a hospital with a bed capacity of 660 but currently in renovation for making more rooms to accomodate more patients. I had the priviledge to be one of the selected medical technologist who were trained to process and release results in IMMUNOFLUORESCENCE under Immunology department of the clinical laboratory.

Established in 1901 as Silliman Institute by the Presbyterian Board of Foreign Missions, it is the first American university in the Philippines and the entire Asian continent. The university is named after Dr. Horace Brinsmade Silliman, a retired businessman and philanthropist from Cohoes, New York who gave the initial sum of $10,000 to start the school.
