Experiences:

Graduate Teaching Assistant 08/2018 - current
Wichita State University, Wichita, KS United States
•Lectured seven groups of ~400 students of engineering graphics [Students’ Evaluation: Very Good] •Lectured one group of ~20 students of CATIA V5 laboratory [Students’ Evaluation: High]

Researcher 08/2018 - current
Wichita State University, Wichita, KS United States
•Designed a vibrational system for the sake of applying controlled levels of vibrations during the stereolithography (SLA) 3D printing process, and to correlate induced vibrations with dimensional accuracy of the printed parts. •Was a team member in a collaborative research project between WSU’s Advanced Manufacturing Laboratory and the Lightweight and Specialty Metals Branch of the US Army Research Laboratory. Measured and analyzed forces and temperatures at the cutting edge of YAG cutting tools of a custom-built lathe machine and studied chip morphology.

Senior Design Engineer & Projects Coordinator 03/2015 - 05/2018
Truck Technologies & Trading Est. – TT, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
Industry: Heavy Equipment
•Contacted and traveled to customers’ sites in order to collect full information about customers’ needs and wants (Voice of Customer – VOC), and translated VOC to technical requirements to have the project focused on what makes value to the customer (Quality Function Deployment – QFD). The results were: ~20% increase in sale and ~5% increase in market share in 2016. •Constructed process flow charts and procedures to streamline production flow and reduce non-value-added activities. The efforts resulted in about 40% reduction of lead time.
•Prepared the working drawings for mounting PALFINGER knuckle-boom truck-mounted. •Conducted technical study and evaluation of the compatibility between PALFINGER cranes or JERR-DAN towing equipment and trucks in terms of load distribution and stability. •Prepared project plans, schedules, technical specifications, and price offers. •Constructed process flow charts and procedures to streamline production flow and reduce non-value-added activities. The efforts resulted in about 40% reduction of lead time of the most frequently sold cranes. •Managed a team of two design engineers. Reviewed, corrected, and approved their drawings.--
Design and R&D Engineer 09/2013 - 02/2015
Deera Service and Spare Parts Trading Co., Amman, Jordan
Industry: Heavy Equipment & Superstructure
•Reverse engineered complex designs of first-time new products like trash vehicles and firefighting trucks (white paper design). This included design and development, prototyping, testing, and improvement and modification (Plan-Do-Check-Act “PDCA” cycle). The effort transitioned the company to be the only trash truck manufacturer in the country after using to importing them. •Used CAD 3D modeling software like Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD to prepare manufacturing working drawings for superstructures to convert trucks into dump vehicles, waste tankers, fuel tankers, etc.
