I would be very delighted to find the opportunity of joining your Institute. I believe with my long time experience and research in industrial project I can be a productive contributor to your group for numerical flow Technology. My principle education was at the University of Stuttgart Germany in the field of “Aerospace Studies”. I got my PhD degree in May, 2007 on the topic “Influence of a Lateral Reaction Control Jet in Super- and Hypersonic Flow” which also took into account high temperature effects. The research was conducted in collaboration with the German Aerospace Center (DLR), French-German Research Institute of Saint-Louis (ISL), France and the Technical University of Darmstadt in Darmstadt, Germany, and has been approved by the University. I have finished my Postdoctoral at Karlsruhe institutes of technology (KIT) Institute for fluid mechanic in Germany in the beginning of March 2011. I’m currently self-employed as a Modelling and Numerical Simulation of Multi-Physical Problems consultant and researcher, URL: www.gravity-assist.com I have 10 years of working experience in numerical simulating of flow fields. Thank you Sincerely, Dr. Reza Adeli--
Dr.-Ing. Aerospace CFD Scientist 10/01/2008 - 03/30/2011
Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) Karlsruhe, Germany, Karlsruhe, Baden Wuertemberg Germany
I worked until the end of March 2011 in the Institute of Fluid Mechanics Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in Germany.
I worked until the end of March 2011 in the Institute of Fluid Mechanics Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in Germany as an Associate in the field development of mathematical models to describe and analyze the Processes in rotor power plants by adjusting commercial software for unsteady compressible multi-phase fluid model. In general, I worked 30% teaching and 70% researches. I was supervising the graduated students for their master thesis in field of fluid dynamics and numerical simulation of free wall bounded turbulent jet.--
Dr.-Ing. Aerospace CFD Scientist 01/01/2008 - 01/30/2008
GMBH/European Aeronautics Defense and Space Company (EADS), Langenargen, Germany
Feasibility study on "Automated Transfer Vehicle" (ATV) for European manned space flight
The Automated Transfer Vehicle (ATV) is an unmanned, non-reusable space freighter which can transport supplies such as food, water, equipment, nitrogen, oxygen and fuel to the International Space Station (ISS). I conducted a feasibility project study at this time on "Automated Transfer Vehicle" (ATV), aerodynamic model for semi-ballistic capsule, aerodynamic and aero-thermodynamic study using a generic simulation model. I brought my professional knowledge in my own initiative, always on the latest technical standard. This investigation is very significant for European manned space flight.--
Aerospace CFD Scientist 03/01/2006 - 11/30/2006
California state University Long Beach, Long Beach, California United States
Technical assistant at the Aerodynamic Lab
• Explored the STAR-CD features • Compared the Star-CD results with CENTAUR grid generator results • Compared the STAR-CD results with DLR-TAU Code results in a generic model--
M.Sc Aerospace CFD Scientist 12/01/2001 - 08/01/2007
Technical University of Darmstadt/German Aerospace Center (DLR), Braunschweig, Sachsen Germany
Ph.D. & Work Technical University of Darmstadt/German Aerospace Center (DLR)/French-German research Institute of Saint-Louis in France, final PHD exam May 2007 Major: Influence of a reaction control jet in super-and hypersonic flow fields
I concluded my PhD work in May 2007 in the field of reaction control systems (RCS) for flight vehicles. My thesis entitled “Influence of a Lateral Reaction Control Jet in Super- and Hypersonic Flow” was conducted in cooperation with the German Aerospace Center (DLR), the Technical University of Darmstadt and the French-German research Institute of Saint-Louis (ISL) in France. The main focus of my PhD thesis is concerned with the fluid dynamic aspects of an RCS impinging into a cross flow. High temperature effects with chemical reactions are taken into consideration at different simulated altitudes.--
