I was the founding member of this competition. The PIONEER Olympiad is a national, for the beginning, high school project competition about environmental and social issues. It is founded and organized by HOPE ACADEMY RWANDA. The first competition was held in May 2016, and PIONEER aims to receive international students from its third year. The Olympiad in its first year received 109 finalist projects representing 12 schools from 5 cities all across Rwanda, and a total of 172 applicants.
