• Leading of Overhead Flight Crew Rests (OFCR) & Overhead Flight Attendant Rests (OFAR) Moscow team since 2014. • review and approval (by electronic sign-off) of OFCR and OFAR production drawings and related documentation as an authorized person from the Manufacturing Engineers Approval Group. • Coordination with the design engineering team, stress team, flammability and materials teams to clarify any design changes, ensuring that all updates are incorporated correctly.
• Incorporates lean manufacturing principles and participates in process improvement initiatives. • Organization, distribution by priorities, and assignment of work packages. • Manage the planning, organization, development, implementation and maintenance of a range of OFCR and OFAR manufacturing and installation plans, bills of materials (BoM’s), work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configurations using Product Data Management (PDM) and Computer Aided Process Planning (CAPP) software. • Manufacturing and technical problems resolving and assisting in the implementation of new or revised processes to eliminate waste. • Develop and implement manufacturing processes including process capability, build sequence and engineering requirements to define as-built configuration. • Responsible for performing manufacturing process quality audits for OFCR and OFAR assemblies on 747, 777 and 787 airplanes. • Work with supplier drawings and related documentation for correct implementation it in assemblies and installation plans. • Conduct engineering research to obtain information regarding parts and assemblies to be manufactured and installed. • Participating in training new employees as a mentor. • Follow established company procedures and project execution processes.
