• Phenotypic evaluations and germplasm screening for drought and low N tolerance on maize, rice and wheat lines and hybrids, and any other crop. • Molecular genotyping and marker-assisted selection of germplasm (maize, rice and wheat). • Organization and implementation of all working aspects of the breeding project; seed preparation, sowing, pollination, scoring, sampling for genotyping, counter-season nurseries. • Management of the breeding operational systems, design of nurseries, greenhouse and field trials, input and analyse data results, and interpretation of results for decision making. • Management and development of lines, visit and score trials and nurseries, collection and the development of robust knowledge of the germplasm sets. • Engage plant response to stresses (green house and field experiments) on plant and plant systems as a result of climate changes, to unmask adaptive mechanisms based on molecular, whole-plant and or systems. • Strong in quantitative genetics and advanced statistics. • Bioinformatics • Demonstrated experiences in agronomy, crop, soil and weed management, production agricultural business (budgeting, planning and management). • Market-oriented, business-oriented and customer-preferential research systems.--
