commentMy experience of 4+ years with them was good. Since 2012. It's a good company however currently they have some cash flow issues, hope they come out of it soon.

At Universal, employees has no freedom to talk to other employees.
Management writes reviews, of course positive.

commentAll bad reviews written here about this company are ABSOLUTELY correct. I have been working thru a contract with this company to an end client for more than 1.5 year. Ever since beginning of this assignment they have been bad in paying up their dues to us but this year it has been the height of unprofessional behavior from this FRAUDULENT company. Our accounts department have been constantly calling them and emailing them to ask the status of the invoice payments but they have not been responding to emails or phone calls at all. I spoke to my client about this and found out that my client has been regularly receiving the invoices from them and the client has been paying them. So look at the height of this fraud that they have been collecting money from my End client but they have not been paying to my employer for my hard work. I am shocked to know that such kind of practices exist even after executing the proper contracts in this day and age. We are on the hook for $50,000 of dues at the time at the time of writing this review and we are not sure on how to get this money out of them.
This company has "FRAUD" written all over their practices. They are definitely going to be sued from our company very soon and I would recommend to all the professionals out there to avoid this company to work as an employee or to get into any kind of business relationships with them because they will be shut down pretty soon and they will be dragged into legal actions for their wrong doings.
These are the people who I know were involved in our working relationship and they are all part of this Fraud.
Kishore Deshpande (CEO) - He is the master Crook
Peter F. Pike (CFO)
Santosh Sirdeshmukh (VP of Consulting)
Ken Rosenfield (Sales Guy) - he is another crook.
Margie Nastasi (Their Accounts Payable person) - Never responds to emails or phone calls.
Diana (Accounts payable dept.)
Lauren Small(Accounts payable dept.)
- 5/23/2016 - absolutely right on! I can name few more crooks in this company management! worst of all: A/P people like Diane and Margie: when you owe money to someone, STOP SHOWING ATTITUDE! you are living off their money!! -

commentI have had nothing but a good experience with this company. They are not just a Desi body shop. They have always found good projects for me and I have improved in my skill sets. I have been with them for 6 years.

commentUniversal Software is the worst recruiting firm on the planet. I am absolutely serious. Stay clear of these idiots. I was asked to submit my resume,e for a job that was open. After I sent it, I followed up the next day by phone to find out that this person could not speak English correctly and was extremely rude. I asked which company I had submitted my resume for and was basically told that this information is confidential. I could not believe it.

- 7/26/2012 - I am working with Universal over 5 years as consultant now, so far I have never came across any problem. Salary always paid on time and they processed my Green card as well. I think this guy is a usual unhappy soul you can find everywhere.. -
