Worked on the transformation projects undertaken within the Asia-Pacific region by QBE Insurance. Platform used is based on the SMART400 proprietary system by DXC (formerly CSC). As project supervisor, I was tasked to attend solution design meetings to provide high-level design regarding in-flight projects and act as a liaison for the backend team. I also performed peer reviews and provided UAT support when needed.
I worked with the system architects, program managers, business analysts and other stakeholders in providing the solutions to be implemented within the Asia-Pacific region. I am also part of the team that has successfully implemented two applications designed for intermediaries and underwriters. The existing backend using Polisy400 was integrated with a java front-end for broker and intermediary use (Qnect) and also with Pegasystems v7.0 for underwriters and internal processors for workflow management (smartQ). I also worked on the cross-platform solution both as technical designer and developer for the search functionality of the 2 applications by integrating the back-end and front-end systems using Websphere MQ and with the 3rd party application, Elasticsearch. I worked with the team in rolling-out these solutions and applications for QBE in the Asia-Pacific region--
