As a member of offshore QA team, My task was to extensively test the application (Aura Client) mainly following exploratory technique, and report defects using team foundation server (TFS). The project involves Test Plan & Test Case preparation, Execution of those Test Cases, In-Dev Testing (Testing in development environment, focusing only in specified area’s), Regression testing using Mercury Quality Centre, Exploratory testing (testing without using any written test steps or using minimal written test steps), issue reporting and defect logging if any. Since the project follows agile methodology my needs was to constantly interact with the development team, reproduce bugs on their request, keep abreast with the frequent requirement changes and update test strategies accordingly. I was also required to execute Build verification testing (BVT, Smoke Test) to validate the new builds, as and when required.--
