Highlights:My career highlight to date has been currently running a project by myself for the Royal Air Force (RAF) for the UK Government. This involves managing and leading a team towards a common goal. I have been responsible for producing multiple project documentation; Business Case, Basis of Estimate, Schedule, Investment Appraisal, Stakeholder Management Plan and so on. In doing so, this greatly improved my capabilities on Microsoft Word, Excel, Project etc. I also had to liaise with key stakeholders on a daily basis, including suppliers as well as senior management, producing update documents such as monthly dashboards and PowerPoint presentations to keep them informed on the projects' status. I am also responsible for the £500,000 budget for this project, this means negotiating and liaising prices with potential suppliers and working closely with my commercial team to understand our commercial route to contract and what we can / can not afford. Overall, this is the first project I have had to manage by myself which has been a fantastic learning experience, with key project manager skills being developed. I am now keen to expand on these skills and experience more complex projects where I can really develop and grow as a project manager.

Goal:I have high aspirations to become an expert in the field of project management. I want to be managing important budgets, empowering a team of people to deliver a shared goal / vision and ensuring I can deliver a high quality project within time and cost. I want these projects to be delivered for the greater good, and ensuring they are making a real benefit to the way a business works. I am someone who doesn't shy away from a new situation and instead I am someone who embraces a new challenge, and this is why I am looking to acquire a H1-B visa and broaden my experience in the project management field by working in a new country, enhancing my project management skills and furthering my network relations within the sector.

Membership:I am a member of Associated for Project Management (APM). I have completed my APM PMQ and hope to eventually become Chartered through this membership as my experience in the project management sector grows and develops.
