Highlights:My most significant & enriching career experience thus far, has undoubtedly been teaching English at various levels in Saudi Arabia. I had already worked as a tutor in a variety of different subjects beforehand, but I felt I was making a bigger difference when I was responsible for entire classrooms, and I developed a great rapport with most of my pupils, colleagues & supervisors. I am eager to build on this experience.

Goal:My first aim is to accumulate teaching experience in order to contribute to the elaboration of new approaches to the profession. In the longer-term, I plan to save enough money to resume my higher studies in History back in my homeland of Scotland. I also have several creative pursuits which I would like to finance.

Certification:MY LLCE English BA counts as a teaching license in its country of issue, France. I am open to obtaining an equivalency in order to teach in the US, or indeed undergo training there in order to reassure employers that I do indeed possess the theoretical knowledge & practical skills to perform competently as a teacher. In addition, I hold a Postgraduate certificate in History from the University of Glasgow (one of the top 10 UK Universities).
