I was under direct leadership of General Manager in auditing the various departments of my current company. Even if my duration as an auditor was short and soon was transferred into production team under direct leadership of another General Manager, the lessons and skills learned was numerous and very helpful to my future position.
i. Auditing the Purchasing Department by extracting out the report of raw material supply and cross checking the Debit Note issued to supplier if there are any shortage of supply. ii. Co-lead in the planning of Centralised Workshop where new software system in ERP was created for the new workshop and planning of the layout of the workshop. iii. Conducted Year-End Stocktake where we covered 14 plants in Central region (Selangor), 2 plants in Southern region (Melaka) and 2 plants in Eastern region (Pahang). The stocktake includes checking of cement stock in silos, measurement of coarse and fine aggregate stockpile and general housekeeping of plants. iv. Conducted monthly training for new staffs in plant in terms of using the ERP system for keying in order and also responsible in assisting the plant staffs in following the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) set by the company when batching the ready-mix concrete. v. Analysed and troubleshoot the issues by checking the monthly management report and present the findings in the Management Meeting witnessed by the Board of Directors and all the managers of Central, Southern and Eastern regions. vi. Conducted internal audit in Northern Workshop (Kedah) where the audit included checking the inventory of workshop items (for batching plants and mixer trucks).--
Production Engineer 10/2020 - current

Worked under direct leadership of the General Manager to assist in daily production of ready-mix concrete plants which are 14 plants in Central region, 2 plants in Southern region and 2 plants in Eastern region. For 3 years have worked in Central region and the past 1 year have been based in Eastern region. Will travel back and forth to Central and Eastern region for 3rd week in every following month to conduct monthly management meeting with the Board of Directors. The following will be the jobscopes of my current position:
i. Conducting stocktake for every month-end for 2 plants chosen by rotation. The stoctake will include checking the current tonnage of cement in silos, measuring the aggregate stockpiles, measuring the admixtures and checking the general housekeeping of plants. ii. Conduct training in monthly basis with Senior Sales Support and Distribution Executive to train new plant staffs in using the ERP System for batching. Also responsible to train them the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of our company and ensure their compliance. iii. Assisting the Logistics Department in generating the P&L (profit and loss) report for the mixer trucks delivering our concrete in Central, Eastern and Southern regions. The report also concludes the availability of the truck (minus the down-time from breakdown or inspection) and the attendance of the drivers. Analyse the total repair done for each trucks and to correspond the repair cost with the total m3 of concrete supplied by each trucks. iv. Involved in analysing the P&L report for 18 batching plants in Central, Eastern and Southern regions combined. Generate the P&L report from the ERP System and tabulate the data comparing monthly basis, year to date basis and previous financial year basis. Troubleshoot any over cost of batching plant by exceeding the budget and compile the relevant justifications for presenting the report in the monthly management meeting.--
Management Executive 08/2019 - 02/2020

Started as a management executive to train in several departments of the ready-mix concrete company such as log in orders, create quotations and POs (Purchase orders) by using ERP system (Enterprise Resource Planning).
i. Assisted in Research and Engineering Department for the testing of high-grade concrete (grade 60 and above) and learned the testing methods such as slump test, compressive strength test, setting time for the cement and observation on bleeding. ii. Assisted in purchasing of raw materials such as 20mm aggregate, 10mm aggregate, fine aggregate (mining and river sand), and admixtures. iii. Continued the training in Quality Control and Assurance Engineering department. Was more involved in on-site and learned hands on with the rebound hammer test, slump test, compressive strength test and also recorded the results for sieve analysis of coarse and fine aggregate testing. iv. Involved in production team by learning how to batch the ready-mix concrete in a wet mix plant by using the GWS system which is an automatic batching system for ready-mix concrete. Aside from that, the learning also included direct communications with the customer when batching the concrete with different grades, time interval and different deliveries to sites. It was a fast paced training involving multi-tasking and problem-solving if any breakdown happens in the middle of batching by dealing with customers and the delivery drivers. Communication skills played major part during this training. v. Involved in IT and Audit department where all the reports and orders keyed in into ERP system was monitored and analysed for any irregularities. Troubleshooting the problem was the major lesson taught in this specific department and all the findings were tabulated and presented during monthly meeting to the Board of Directors alongside with the General Managers and all the plant staffs from Central region (Selangor), Eastern region (Pahang) and Southern region (Melaka).--
