Responsibilities: ? Authority for Providing product engineering support for all current and new product- development and Technical / Engineering support for production operations ? Designing & Developing of both Aluminum and Iron castings such as Steering knuckle, Brake Rotor, Brake Drum, Caliper housing, Carrier Bracket and Engine mounting brackets using Various software such as CATIA ,UGNX, HYPERWORKS, NCode etc. ? Preparation of DFMEA, Control Plan, Process flow diagrams and other PPAP related Documents ? Feeder & Gating system design of Vertical and Horizontal Green sand molding for both Ductile and Grey irons, and PCPC aluminum process. ? Designing of Casting Tooling (Molds, Patterns, Core box, core mask...etc.), CMM part holding fixture, Validation testing fixtures. ? Mold flow analysis software MAGMA and EKK CAPCast ? Shop floor supervision of Aluminum PCPC (Pressure-Counter Pressure casting) Manufacturing process of both Production and Quality ? Input data calculations for actuators for Part level validation testing such as Impact, Static and Fatigue, Block cycle testings. Having good experience in direct interaction with Customers (OEMs) Familiar with the CAE requirements of GM, Ford, Mahindra and other OEMs. Travelled to various countries for attending Tech review meetings with customers such as GM-North America, Toyota-Japan, GM, South Korea and SGM, China etc.--
