Highlights:I taught courses on remote sensing, geographic information systems (GIS), geostatistics, hydrology, mapping techniques, and the environment. I also supervised undergraduate students' research projects and participated in various community service activities. In addition, I engaged in various research activities and collaborations with national institutions. I published some papers in peer-reviewed journals on topics such as assessing seismic hazard sensitivity assessment in the main Ethiopian rift valley, flood inundation mapping, characterizing the groundwater potential and quality, and spatial-temporal assessment of the lake. I also attended several workshops and trainings on geospatial science and earth science.

Goal:My ultimate goal is to become a leading researcher, problem solver, and educator in the position of Mapping, GIS, and Remote Sensing field. I aspire to contribute to the advancement of scientific knowledge and innovation in this field and to the dissemination and application of this knowledge for the benefit of society and the environment.
