commentIt was excellent Consultancy for OPT students, they will get you a project within a month, if you are sharp and active they'll get you in 2 weeks. More specially H1B approval is dam good, they have separate attorney department to file your H1B visa. Awesome thing is they pay you by weekly what ever the Client. Honest management, all the negative reviews are by only one person who was very egoistic.

They do make all false promises, and entice people on the brand name and review/ratings of Itech US and promise they would file your H1 with Itech US.... Believe me all fake promises
If you decided to leave the company for better opportunity..., They don't pay your money and you will never get the documentation from them, if you need anything after that
The marketing is very awful... JUST IGNORE this consultancy
Hope this may stop few people from choosing SmartWorks LLC and avoid hurdles

commentI am a victim of this company. Smart Works team visited our college and gave a presentation. We 5-6 students were joined the consultancy, marketing was so Horrible. The accommodation was not good and they provide only 2 months free accommodation, but they did not tell all these when they came for presentation. Don't join if SMITA THAKUR is working there. She made so many calls until I join in the consultancy. After joining she treated badly. So, I left the consultancy.

commentTry to avoid this company as much as possible. They try to target students and will surely manipulate them with fake statements and assurances. They have don't have any training faculty or marketing team either. these people don't have any ethics or moral values. they try to squeeze the money and blood out of candidates with their fake policies and promises. never be a bait or prey for these hunters. i feel really regret now for wasting my time with these people. their main target is students.

they must take necessary actions to place OPT students. If you cannot place. It is a request please do not take OPT students and spoil their lives

commentThis is one of the worst Consultancy i have ever seen. Unfortunately i have joined this consultancy. They took 6 months to find me a job and that too with a low payrate. The marketing staff are useless. The traing is bit ok. They are always slow and slaggy, and even never respond to Students. There are no good resources with them which helps us to crack the interview(you know what i mean). Only in the name of ITechus this company runs. I even doubt the 5 Star rating. This company is a piece of s**t. There are many good companies which are far better than this.

commentWorked for a year now. They have a great team at place to take care of your documentation let it be OPT or H1. Legal team is always ready to answer your queries. Working on % basis and pay is credit bi weekly and always on time.
Coming to the training and marketing side. Training is good but would have to accept that marketing is average. But won't blame them entirely for marketing. As a candidate you yourself have to be aggressive while in marketing. Have many friends into consulting and can quite assure you that almost all the firms have same. I understand that the main focus of a student is to get a project ASAP and students keep changing firms while in marketing. From my personal experience i wan't to tell you getting a project isn't everything. You also need to make sure that the firm has good paperwork.
I can assure you as you start a project with Smartworks you will have a great experience.

commentI worked for Smart works for 2 years, I joined from school as my senior worked there. they trained me in .net, set up interviews, and it took me 3 interviews to clear. paid me percentage as they promised. payroll is every two weeks, gave me healthcare option too. healthcare is a bit expensive but benefits are good, I never used it tho. I took full time with the client and just applied for H-1. good company to start your career with.

commentI have seen and worked for a few desi companies. I would rate this one the worst. They are the worst when it comes to inquires. I contacted them through phone and email so many times (namely usha and sushma). They ll be like, "yes we ll contact you back with an update, don't worry"... and that's that. They ll leave you waiting for days until you decide to cal them again. And then they ll repeat the same BS. I would recommend the management to employ a few responsible employees who answer to your phone numbers and provide realistic expectations. Advice to everyone else: Find another desi company, there are plenty of good and better ones out there.

commentGiving two stars only because they are good students around. But poor guys don't know they are taken for a ride by the management. Poor billing rate and absolutely hideous marketing skills. Front end care is a joke. Move on people, there are lot better companies out there.

commentThis is the most ridiculous consultancy. I agree, they post their own reviews on multiple websites. More than half of the reviews in glassdoor is written by the management itself. Poor training and even poorer marketing. They give false hopes. The most annoying thing is that they never return your phone calls. They don't appreciate the time and effort you are putting into approaching them with a problem. There are thousands of other consultancies with are a million times better than this one. Trust me. Stay away. Don't be surprised if you see a couple of good ratings after this one. They would probably post it themselves to save the bad ratings.

They don't respond to your concerns and make fake promises. Stay away from this consultancy if you want to save your time and energy.

commentI have been with this company since 2 years and i am really very happy working with this company. It is an excellent consultancy which pays on time, responses to the emails aptly, very legitimate and transparent in paper work and other documentations. The best part is the owner/president of this company works very closely with the employees to know and solve the issues(if any) with proper guidance. Marketing is very aggressive and they find you projects very quickly...

commentI strongly doubt the authenticity of the reviews given to Smartworks LLC. As you can see, some reviews are given on the same day.Like the most recent have 2 reviews on the same day and the next 3 reviews etc.Moreover, they don't sound like reviews(looks more like an advertisement). I have neither worked with nor planning to work with Smartworks Llc just to show that I don't have anything against them. I just wanted to show that you can't fool people who are looking for jobs to review yourself and give a higher rating.Come to think about the rating, None of the self-reviews have given them four star or three star and haven't described any cons. They have just praised themselves. Graduates, just be careful,a word of caution. The rest is upto you.

commentSmartWorks is in Central, NJ and they have a good training program, they give you an option to live for FREE in their guest houses, right near their office, if you need accomodation, while you are in training classes which can take 6 weeks. They have daily pick up and drop off and provide food and living necessities, they are very helpful! so if you had a bad experience with SmartWorks it's because you probably sat around and didn't attend the training classes they provide you with. SmartWorks will get you a job once you complete your training, you start in the market and will receive many calls for interviews, it's up to you to land that job!!!! SmartWorks will provide you with everything neccesary to prepare you for these interviews. They are a great consultancy company in NJ better than the rest they Sponsor your Visas as well! and if you are ever concerned or need any help they have people right in their NJ office to help you! I would recommend this company for sure! I'm very happy !

commentStraight ahead, don't join this consultancy. They promise to deliver a lot and once you sign the bond, end of it.
They don't even care about you.
Then the training is very poor. Inefficient trainer!. Can't clear any doubts.
They trap students with one year bond, which is very bad.

We are a for-profit corporation and we did have a 1 year contract for students that take training from us because we spend a lot of time and money on them that we would like to recover. But just in the beginning of this year, we have started promising a placement in 100 days of completion of training and mentoring. I guess you were upset with us and decided to take it out on this forum. We're sorry for whatever made you feel this way. Take care and good luck with your future. -

commentTo all students out there looking for that break in their career, join this consultancy only if you plan to do nothing for 8-9 months. First things first, I was a trainee with them for 4months. Total waste of time and money. Training was ok types, took them a month to actually get me into the market and 2 months to get one client call.
They don't have any relation with any vendor/client directly, brag about iTech. All BS!! No need to come on site and train, still they force students to come; misleading them for in-person training sessions and other sessions. Nothing never happens. People in office are bunch of airheads, good for nothing. They pretend they care, but they don't. Either they have a side business going along or they are on some iTech's monthly pay, they don't care who gets placed. I have seen trainee's in their guesthouses for months in depression.
Trust me, save yourself. I'm a consultant like you, join someother consultancy- look around west coast!

Unfortunately, being disgruntled, you've exaggerated your review to such an extent that it appears illogical and unreal. You were with us for 4 months and that seems to me like a very short time to develop such a distinct impression about us. Anyway, when I joined this company, we had a tiny office, but today that same office is 3 times the size of the old office. The number of employees have also multiplied 4 times. We were in the INC 500/5000 list for many years now...and are confident we'll be on that list this year too. I guess we must be doing something right. Don't you think so? -
