Explore FY2024 Labor Petitions and New USCIS Rules on H-1B Visas

To assist you in finding the right employers, we have compiled and published all labor petitions filed by U.S. employers in the first six months of fiscal year 2024 through our redesigned job portal.

From October 1, 2023, to March 31, 2024, the Department of Labor (DOL) processed nearly 223,000 labor condition applications for H-1B visa jobs and over 52,000 labor petitions for employment green cards. Explore detailed statistics and trends

#Good News: USCIS has implemented new rules to enhance fairness and reduce fraud in this year's H-1B registration process. For example, passport information must be provided during registration to prevent multiple registrations for the same beneficiary.

As a result, the total number of eligible registrations dropped from 759,000 last year to 470,000 this year, substantially increasing the chances of being selected in the H-1B visa lottery. Learn more:

#One More Thing:
When nonimmigrant workers are laid off, they may not be aware of their options and, in some instances, may wrongly assume that they have no option but to leave the country within 60 days.

USCIS recently released guidelines on Options for Nonimmigrant Workers Following Termination of Employment.

We wish you every success in your job search journey!
