Medical Laboratory Scientist, Generalist in Blood Banking, Chemistry, Hematology and Microbiology
As a Medical Laboratory Scientist, my journey has been rooted in dedication to produce accurate and precise results for easy diagnosis and quality healthcare. I have worked with 4 different facilities across my country, as an intern, national service personnel and an employee.
As a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Laboratory Scientist with 2 to 3 years of experience, I bring hands-on expertise across multiple disciplines including clinical biochemistry, hematology, microbiology, immunohematology, and phlebotomy. I perform a wide range of moderate to high-complexity tests—both manual and automated—while independently managing quality control, equipment troubleshooting, and regulatory compliance.
I have extensive experience in phlebotomy, including care for vulnerable patients such as neonates, geriatrics, and burn victims. In microbiology and hematology, I prepare and analyze critical samples, perform parasite and cell counts, and operate advanced diagnostic equipment. I’m also deeply involved in blood banking procedures, from donor screening to transfusion compatibility and safety.
Beyond the bench, I uphold the highest standards of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism, and I actively contribute to procedural improvements, staff training, and continuous education. Every test I run is more than a task—it’s a lifeline for a patient, and I approach it with both precision and compassion.--
