Visa Rank: 1,520 | LCA for H-1B: 49 | LC for Green Card: 9 | Prevailing Wage Determination: 10 | ✔ All petitions certified!

Overview

Update(2/26/26): In fiscal year 2026, Gcom Software filed 3 LCAs for H-1B visas, no labor petitions for green cards, and 2 requests for prevailing wage determination.

Important Update(12/16/2025): We’ve recently added H-1B visa approval and denial history from USCIS(2017–2025) and H-1B visa petition locations to provide a more complete view of employment-based immigration. Previously, our data included only Labor Condition Applications (LCAs) certified by the U.S. Department of Labor.
For example, in fiscal year 2025, Gcom Software filed 39 Form I-129 petitions for H-1B visas. Of these, 39 were approved and 0 were denied.

Number of Employees: 112
Founded: 2005 - Main Office: Columbia, MD - NAICS Industry: Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services
H-1B Dependent: No - Willfull Violator: No

Gcom Software, Llc filed 49 labor condition applications (LCAs) for H-1B visas and 9 labor certifications (LCs) for green cards during fiscal year 2025. Gcom Software was ranked number 1,520 among all visa sponsors. Additionally, all petitions were certified!

Before Gcom Software can hire foreign workers, whether permanently or temporarily, it must submit labor certifications to the Department of Labor (DOL). These certifications confirm compliance with wage requirements for the specified job locations. The reports below summarize Labor Condition Applications (LCA) for H-1B visas and Labor Certifications (LC) for green cards filed by Gcom Software. This data represents only the number of applications submitted and does not guarantee visa approvals or worker hires.

The LCA data includes applications for various purposes: new employment, continuation or changes to previously approved employment, new concurrent employment, changes in employer, and amended petitions. Typically, only LCAs for new employment require an H-1B visa cap if the employer is not cap-exempt.For example, Gcom Software submitted 71 LCAs and LCs during fiscal year 2025. However, this figure does not necessarily reflect the number of foreign workers hired, as visa applications can be denied. Additionally, employees renewing or transferring H-1B visas or changing work locations may need to file new LCAs.

The DOL generally certifies more than three times the number of foreign worker requests compared to the H-1B visas issued by USCIS. Therefore, there is no direct correlation between the number of workers certified by the DOL and the H-1B visas issued by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).

* Why are the numbers different? LCAs are a prerequisite to filing H-1B visa petitions, but not all certified LCAs lead to actual H-1B filings. Similarly, one LCA can support multiple visa petitions (e.g., for extensions, amendments, or changes in employer). Therefore, visa totals may differ significantly from LCA totals.
Moreover, employers sometimes use different names when submitting LCAs and H-1B visa petitions. This can cause discrepancies in our system. To get a complete and accurate picture, please use the search function to explore both LCA and visa data.
Total H-1B includes all types of visa petitions: new employment, continuation, change of employer, as well as other actions not listed in the table, such as concurrent filings and amendments.

GCOM is the best company to work as an employee or consultant.
I was working with GCom more than two years as consultant. I was getting good work & support to accomplish client targets. There is a strong technical team in GCom to support any employee or consultants at critical milestones. Yes,sometimes need to be work more than 8Hrs to reach our promises. GCom never cares how much you are working..they support us to reach quality work at time.

one of the worst places to work for in house projects. Manager is running dictatorship with no respect or courtesy towards employees. There is no satisfaction with work, no matter how much effort you put.

★★★★★ - Good Firm. - - - 9/11/2012 - flag as inappropriate - comment
Worked with them for over 2 years and had good exp with them. Never an issue with payment. Everything is clear and open at this firm. The people whom I worked with are helpful and encourage you to grow. Was always given an opportunity to enhance technically. They place you from one to another if the original one completed. A fast paced environment though.

Girish Bhatia / CEO of GCOM - 9/9/2012 - This comment is factually incorrect.

Here are facts that can be verified very easily.

1. GCOM is the fastest growing IT company in the Capital Region 3 years in a row (2010, 2011, 2012).

2. Yes, our employee work hard but no one is expected to work more than 8 hours. We expect highly paid consultants to stick to deadlines for most part; our customer expect that.

3. GCOM does not tolerate employees/consultants with fake experience. If you have embellished your resume please do not bother to join us as we will find out in few days and you will be out of GCOM in no time.

4. GCOM has the highest retention rate in the IT consulting industry. 95% percent of people who have joined GCOM (employees or consultants) are still with us (we will be 7 year old company in Oct 2012 so this is not a short term statistic)and they recommend their friends to join GCOM

5. One of the few companies in the area where our employees are paid full salary even when they are on the bench.

if any one needs any clarification; please contact me. I am always available for my current & potentially future employees/consultants.

Thanks
