I recently resigned from NAV Fund Administration Group after working there for 16 years. Although I never thought it will happen to me, but it has happened to me and this company is coming after me with false allegations of misappropriation of confidential information. This company does not like it if their employee leaves for better opportunities, and when they do, they make every effort to harass them and make their life hell. I knew about this happening to some other former colleagues but now even I am a victim.

I gave the company 2 months’ notice, and during this period, they kept trying to retain me and offered 50% pay increase immediately and also offered a promotion. When I still continued with my plan to leave, they just started preparing for the lawsuit while asking me to stay almost until my last day. They allege that I misappropriated some information 2 months ago. But all this time they did not protect that or any other information and in fact, they tried to retain me despite all this.
A lawsuit was filed within 48 hours and an arbitration case was filed the very next day after my last day. The lawsuit is baseless and filled with false statements. I will fight this and I am confident of getting justice. I am happy to share information and documents on the lawsuit and arbitration case to ensure my friends and professional contacts know the right information, not the rumors.
