Vinaya is a attorney for all the wrong reasons. She at start was very supportive and friendly..makes you feel like you can trust her completely as that's what you want as she would be your attorney. But things changed once you pay her the retainer fee and you are stuck with her. As the case progressed I felt like she was much on the other party's side. She gave me heavy bills which she wouldn't want to explain why she billed me and also threaten me that she would go to court against me for asking her for explanation though by law she is liable to answer me. She didn't want to explain to me of what is happening in my case. Even after I paid her 10000$(for a short period of 3 months) she abandoned me in the middle of the court proceedings and walked out and so I was forced to make a final call in the court without a attorney by my side. Even the judge was surprised by her behavior. She delays the work so much that you have to be on her constantly to check if the paper work is completed and sent. She has school kids as her assistants..who don't know anything about law or billing, they just do a hopeless job. Working with her was equally painful and stressful as going through your separation. Please trust me- don't make her your attorney cause no one deserves unethical attorney. Its a very unfortunate incident that I met her and put myself in a bigger problem instead of coming out of it :(
