- Put in the effort and you'll be richly rewarded. - - A.L. - 6/10/2022 - flag as inappropriate - comment
The Synergistic IT upskill training and job placement program is highly effective if you make the most of it and put in the time and effort it asks of you. You need to be able to devote at least a 40-hr/week schedule to it, it is NOT part time. The job placement process at the end can be especially intense as you're doing up to two or more interviews per day. But if you stick with it, and had done the training work, you will come out with a great result. This is not to say the program is perfect, it does have some rough edges. But there is no question it gives you a golden opportunity to improve your life, if you can make the necessary commitment.

- It's good if you are ready to work hard for 8-9 months - - Ia - 5/27/2022 - flag as inappropriate - comment
To be honest, my initial expectations were very low, but when I started I realized that the staff is very knowledgeable and everybody knows what to do. I think that the main prerequisite is to know much before you join Synergistic. They helped me to broaden my hands-on experience in databases and cloud services. At the same time I was exposed to data structures like I was never before. I can't say that it was immediately very helpful for my career, what I can say is that it changed the way I think about the structure of my code and I hope people can see it. Some other parts of the program were less helpful at least to me maybe because I already had a little experience in machine learning. Although the whole program is quite messy, it helps you to improve your chances of a better job. You have to be ready to devote all of your time to it for minimum 6 months. In my case, it was 9 months.

- Go to them for amazing curriculum and best job support in town - - Gary - 2/4/2021 - flag as inappropriate - comment
After doing a lot of research around the various bootcamps, I decided to quit my job and pursue coding full time and I went for SynergisticIT web development course.
My reasons for choosing the course:
•It was online which meant I could learn from the comfort of my home
•The reviews I found online about their web development technology based courses were mostly good
•I checked their website for an overview of the curriculum and it covered JavaScript and frameworks like Mern Stack, which is an up to date approach
•The job placement process is transparent. They don’t focus on claims like ‘job guarantee’ instead; their talented team of professional works hard to help students find long term employment.

The learning platform and content
Most of the lessons are practical based so we are given regular assignments and then the teacher review them later. Some skills do get a lot of time to build, but with constant support from cohort and teachers, the learning never stops. The curriculum as a whole is excellent as there is a lot to learn and it gets updated frequently too.

The extras
•Tutor: you will meet some of the most energetic mentors here. They take their job very seriously and give their best every day.
•Community support: you engage in regular discussion with your fellow coders, indulge in pair programming and that is how you become a part of their community.
•Career choice: they don’t force a job contract on you. They understand what you want and then device a career strategy for you. You get interview training and even on job technical support for a year.

What I disliked?
Over-all, everything was great but there were a few sections I think could have gone better. Sometimes reviewing a section of a lecture afterward is not easy to do online. Towards the end, the focus was given to solve more practical problems, I would have preferred if we focused a little on theory part as well.

Hope my experience and knowledge helps you make a right choice.

- Worth the time and effort as the outcomes are great! - - Earl B - 1/13/2021 - flag as inappropriate - comment
This was my first coding bootcamp experience so I would say it wasn’t as smooth as some people make you believe. As a fresher, you really struggle a lot in the beginning and even feel left out because you don’t match up with other cohort. But that is why SynergisticIT is a great place, as they ensure every student is paid equal attention irrespective of their previous experiences. I did their java course as a friend recommended to me it is a great choice for beginners. So this is how the curriculum went:

We started with Introduction to Java and OOPS that included inheritance, abstractions, multi-threading, stream functions, and types of exceptions among other concepts. Their curriculum is quite extensive that keeps updating as per the trends. As we kept progressing to new concepts, the projects and assignments became harder, but lucky for us, we had an option for pair programming. What I really liked was that teachers were really patient when handling our doubts, so we could easily ask questions. Despite being online, I found the classes engaging, informative and I was able to connect with my cohort through regular group activities.

Pros
•Instructors are highly qualified and skilled
•Dynamic course content that is updated regularly
•Quick support from teachers and staff for any query
•Diverse and reliable IT client list, so better employment opportunities
•No binding contracts and no relocation required
•No extra charges for repeat sessions

Cons
•A little pricey (but you have the option to pay in two installments)
•Sometimes felt a little problem with software installation that delayed the session
•Very intense training method so be ready for round the clock work
Overall, my journey was great – full of challenges that made me the kind of coder that I am today. I even found a suitable six figure salary job within one month of finishing my course.

- I got my career set in IT because of them. I am happy - - Alan Cal - 12/3/2020 - flag as inappropriate - comment
When I discovered the AI field I knew I would be a perfect fit but I also needed to make sure I have proper guidance when making this career change. And SynergisticIT provided me with more than just the opportunity for it.
It is called ‘bootcamp’ for a reason, it is intense. You learn a LOT as compared to a full time CS degree. Daily lectures and projects may seem overwhelming especially when you combine the self study part. However, you never feel alone as instructors guide you on your journey, they are very knowledgeable and are patient with students who need extra time to understand certain concepts (I guess this tells a lot about the quality of teaching because most camps don’t repeat topics or do regular doubt sessions). Students are openly allowed to ask questions and teachers give relevant examples to help understand it better.
Another part of their program that is really beneficial is career services. Ultimately, we all want to have a job with a six figure salary and that is not as easy as some camps make it sound. After the pandemic, the job market has gotten really bad so if you had a 70% percent chance of getting hired within a month of training before, the prospects have decreased to 50% at best now. That is where the importance of places like SynergisticIT comes in. According to me, they are a networking guru since they found me a job even in the poor job market.
Rather than catching a fish for you, they teach you how to fish which is a crucial skill if you want to succeed in this industry.
Before their program, I was barely getting by and that is when I decided to learn coding. I now have a full time job with benefits and a stable salary. Also, you should know that this program is not a walk in the park. It is going to get stressful and a lot harder before it becomes easier and more fruitful. You will be learning a lot in a span of 5-6 months but remember that any program worth doing comes with its own set of challenges.

- They develop job worthy skills and get you better projects - - Caleb - 11/17/2020 - flag as inappropriate - comment
Due to Covid-19 situation, many international students fear lay-offs because there is scarcity of new jobs. So with the rising stress, students like me are stuck because we have to apply for OPT jobs to maintain our status and seeing everyone around us struggling too really puts the confidence in the back seat. For OPT students, the requirement of job isn’t just limited to earning money but to maintain their stay in US legally. So getting help from a consultancy sounded better to me instead of blindly applying to jobs with no hopes of getting a reply! I did not want to lose my F1 status so I decided to join SynergisticIT to help me get trained and learn new skills to put me on the job market.
They make you job worthy and stand out in the competition. When you apply on your own, your resume hit the software filters and then get picked based on the keywords you used. Now as an inexperienced person, you don’t know which keywords you should use to make sure your application reaches the needed clients. That is why you need help from a good place like SynergisticIT as they market your resume effectively and help you get noticed. From what I have experienced, they advise you better for a smooth transition from OPT to H1b. There are so many factors to consider while choosing an employer for H1b like whether they are E-verified, what kind of candidates they are looking for, whether the job profile is suitable for you, what kind of employment they offer (full time or contract basis) etc and being a student with no industry knowledge, it’s impossible to find answers to these questions. I did not want to take any chance, especially when the job market is hit very badly and the immigration rules keep changing. I am not saying all this to promote them but to genuinely express my gratitude for helping my application and to polish my skills. So, take help from their expertise and put yourself ahead in the race.

- Up to date course material and amazing job support! - - Dan - 10/31/2020 - flag as inappropriate - comment
Attending a class that you have no knowledge about is scary. And when you are doing it remotely, the nervousness doubles up. I did not have many expectations but it became comfortable from first class onwards as the teachers were supportive. We did not face any technical difficulties and their way of teaching was quite captivating. SynergisticIT did a great job in preparing me for what’s about to come. If you think coding camps are competitive, wait till you start working for a company where some of most creative people work to build awesome programs every day. One thing that I really liked here was that you don’t just learn your curriculum but you discover a lot more than that about your field. What about job support? Well they do a good job in that department as well but you can’t just rely on them to make you a successful coder, you have to put in the hard work too. The course is designed this way to balance the practical and theoretical knowledge so you get the best of both worlds.

Benefits: the online course did not feel like I was missing anything by not attending an in person camp. The course material was good, detailed without being overwhelming. Taking a course live with students from different backgrounds really make up for an interesting environment. I learned so much from problem solving, quizzes, assignments and built a strong network with my cohort.

Cons: creating personal connections online is a little tough sometimes but not impossible. I did manage to come out of the experience with a bunch of people I could call friends. I felt some lecturers were better than the others with their assignments while some were good on theory.

My overall experience was fun but full of challenges. The up to date course material keeps you on your toes always. In my experience, full time camps are far better than part time ones. So if you want to graduate with a strong foundation and make a good career out of this then this place can prove to be a really good start!

- I got two 5 figure salary offers and I am very happy! - - Sam George - 10/13/2020 - flag as inappropriate - comment
About me:
•Graduate of the SynergisticIT JavaScript immersive program from 2019
•Found a junior developer role with an above average salary two months after starting my job search
•Have a bachelor’s degree in a non-technical background

SynergisticIT experience in a nutshell
Unlike other camps that prepare you for an internship in the coding world, they help you land a good salary job with long term projects. The study is in-depth and teachers are highly dedicated so it gives you the best of both worlds – teaching and better job.

The good
Inclusive and supportive culture in a fast paced learning environment. Gain valuable industry knowledge for a solid foundation. Knowledgeable instructors who care about your success

The not so good
Career support workshops felt a little rushed in the end as we also had assignments at the time. The job interviews sometimes happen all at once and sometimes there is some gap so a little inconsistency there but you would get the best suited interviews that’s for sure

What you can expect?
You won’t magically become an experienced coder, you would make mistakes and that’s how you will learn. The only thing a coding camp can do for you is give you direction and teach you basic skills you need to start your coding journey. Degree or without degree, it is your knowledge and experience that will matter at the end. If working with big companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon and Facebook etc is your goal then training at a camp like this is must. You can expect thorough training so be ready to be grilled for 5-6 months of intense training.

Is this the right place for you?
If you are a dedicated self starter willing to put in the hours then SynergisticIT is the place for you. I know some of my other friends who got trained by other camps, they also faced some problems, so no place is 100% perfect but it is you who could decide what works best for you as per your requirements.

- They train you to be the best programmer, period! - - - 9/24/2020 - flag as inappropriate - comment
Just finished my SynergisticIT course – full stack!
this is not my first course with them, I completed Advanced Java and AWS with them before so I did not have any doubts this time.
During my course I had the opportunity to learn how to create an application or website from scratch. I have always been a creative person and I am happy that now I have a way to showcase my creativity in form of user friendly and eye catchy web designs. So far I have worked with start-ups as well as big IT companies for their front or back end web development. What I have enjoyed most about studying at SynergisticIT is that the course gives you a chance to stretch your knowledge and skills across digital place. You must be wondering why I have done more than one course with them?
Because this place has it all! From professional, knowledgeable teachers, up to date course material to full spectrum job support where every candidate is evaluated and marketed based on his/her skills. No bias, no false promises and no lying on resume. It’s not that I did not pursue other camps, I did! But majority of those were either too expensive or following an old curriculum.
And I did not want to get stuck like my other batch mates who are still looking for a job even after 5 months of passing their camp.
Full time coding camps are not that easy to complete as there are regular classes, weekly assignments, group discussions, workshops with teachers so you really have to give it all to succeed. My advice to you for days when it becomes overwhelming:
•Trust the program & listen to the education team
•Help fellow classmates
•Ask questions
•Plan ain advance and devote your attention to the program only
•Put in time, effort and work
Final thoughts: listen to your gut and do some research. It is not about finding the best camp but finding something that works the best for you.

- Choose the right place if you want to succeed for OPT - - - 9/4/2020 - flag as inappropriate - comment
You cant just get up and enrol into the first boot camp you find. There are so many factors to consider like their training style, curriculum, payment methods, job support, faculty etc. If you reading this it means u are also looking for a place to enrol. So i won’t take up much of your time and come straight to the point.

So there are 2-3 options that help you learn coding and get a job in IT sector like boot camps, training companies and consultations and staffing companies. How to know which is good?

Mostly staffing companies and consultations work with US citizens and green card holders so us foreign students already have limited choice. I was lucky to find SynergisticIT when i did for my OPT to h1b transition. It is a mix of consultation and boot camp that work with OPT, citizens, L2 (EAD), H2 (EAD) and GC people.

First, students need to clear interview based on their programming skills and then they get admission. They get to work on real projects with real clients and are never asked to lie on their resume. Their training also involves solving real problems so they can gain experience. SynergisticIT give 5-6 months comprehensive training and there are no extra charges for any repeat session. Yes, the duration is a little long especially if you have time crunch but you gotta choose quality. Other staffing companies bind you in a contract & usually make you travel but that isn’t a problem with these people.

Yes market is tough but choosing the right place can make all the difference. So pick a place that suits your needs well so you don’t regret it later!

- One of the best boot camps for online classes and job support - - - 8/18/2020 - flag as inappropriate - comment
If you have heard about boot camps then you might have also heard some misconceptions like they are too expensive, don’t teach in depth and there is never a job guarantee.

Well, I am here to tell you the reality!!!

I am not saying that they are the best option out there but definitely worth considering. How am I sure? Because I myself was struggling with my OPT job search and then I decided to get in touch with a camp. I had the same misconceptions in mind but the camps are a different world altogether. The more I researched, the more I got to know about what matter and what does not. So before I share some options with you, let me tell my experience with one of the amazing boot camp.

I got trained and placed by SynergisticIT. I don’t know if you have heard about them or not but they surely deserve appreciation for the kind of support they provided. Of course, nothing is 100% good but we learn to make the most of what we have. These guys have thorough courses and train you perfectly within 4-5 months. They don’t stop there and help you until they get you the job you deserve and that’s the best thing about them.

How did I finalize this place??

Well a lot of things helped! First, I made a list of my requirements and then matched my options with the same. I researched for about a month online and these were the best recommendations (combined after reviews, LinkedIn contacts and ratings) – Flatiron School, App Academy, Thinkful, SynergisticIT, Udacity, Skillcrush, and Devmountain. I wanted to join a place that gave online classes and does not have long duration courses and provided job surety (that was the most important thing!).

So there I was - a foreigner, burdened with college projects and doubtful about his future in US and then boot camp gave me a ray of hope. So if you are planning to go for OPT then you should definitely check out boot camps because they will better your chances of getting hired by top class employers.

- Good place to sign up for better OPT jobs - - - 7/25/2020 - flag as inappropriate - comment
Finding a job during your OPT isn’t an easy task. I understood it the hard way when I entered the job market and saw thousands of more qualified candidates. Because of pressure, I have seen many of my batch mates do jobs they weren’t good at that made them lose their OPT status and they ultimately had to leave US. I myself was in a tough spot when I started my OPT application and job search.
The thing is number of vacancies is limited but the candidates’ list is increasing per year. So you need to be competent enough in order to secure a job. What I have learned from my experience is you need to be technically adept to get a job in US IT market and that can’t happen without joining a camp. Even if you get hired without any training, there is no guarantee that your employer won’t fire you because they found somebody more qualified. So, I shortlisted a few names like Code smith, Skillcrush, Wyncode, SynergisticIT, Turing, and Tech Elevator when I was looking for a training camp.
Codesmith’s provide training in React, Redux, DevOps and Build tool. They have free coding workshops and part-full time courses as well. But the cost of program was way more than my budget.
Skillcrush provides 3 month course in coding, design and digital marketing. They have a fixed schedule to cover their course. They also help with practical training but their curriculum and batch size wasn’t suiting my requirements. Wyncode have full time 10 weeks program in person or remote as well. They seem like a nice option but some of my batch mates trained with them and did not get a good job as promised after training.
SynergisticIT focuses on Advanced JAVA, full stack, MErn stack, Redux, React.Js, Express.Js etc. They groom a candidate well and help them get a good job. They help you stand a chance among the competition. Turing was again a nice option but their training was for 7 months which for me was quite a long period. So I went ahead with SynergisticIT and I am happy with my decision.

this company real name is impetusit. they are giving training from synergisticit name and once they start your marketing you will know it is impetusit. they will not give paystub once you are on h1b. they will also not give h1b copy. and if you ask for it they will take 5000 dollar and will not return it. if you ask your money back , they will start blackmailing that they will revoke your h1b. management staff is worst.

- One of the few good consulting firms which specialize in java - - akashsaks - 6/8/2015 - flag as inappropriate - comment
one of the better consulting firms.
Has its shotcomings. More pluses than minuses.

A 3 year old employee now with h1b with them ( i mean their mktng co)

They are good with training and placing people in good projects. Good thing anout them is that they are selective in where they place you as they want projects which are long and wherein a fresh candidate with trainjng can survive. My h1b was picked up lastyear and still on visa with them. They require at least 1 year to stay with them from the date of approving of visa.
Good infrastructure, they treat candidates well and have clean guest houses.

Good books and excellent trainers and they make you learn via coding and let yiu crack interviews.

Most of the firms i know have people take proxies. Synergisticit does not. They also provide on job support after you get the job. I git my offer after 3 interviews and i had another of my colleague complaining that he did not get enough interviews and he was in the job market and had taken like 5 interviews which he ffailed because he did not prepare enough. If you can work hard and are serious then you will get a job kostly within 5 interviews as they have good clients and they prepare yiu well for interviews

Now the negatives
Training contract which they have is very strict and i have seen people violating contracts either shell money out which js 10k or have attorney letters go out to them and their credit and background history go bad which had immigration consequences for them later on while filing visas and getting employed with other firms as the background checks did not clear. Piece of advise to anyone wanting to join them live up to your end of th deal and go through the whole process and get a job thriugh them Nd leave after 1 year if you dont like but no sense messing your career up by getting bad things on your background history.. I personally know if one of my batchmates who took trainjng and ran away and he had to settle with them after 7 months by paying 10k and 7000$ in attorney fees.

Another one in the previous batch who ran away lost his job because after he had job offer taken away at a major financial firm due to his background check showing a spot in his background check due to collection and court case pending due to no show at court and not paying trainjng charges. Courts take their time like 6-9 months but after that the background thing remains on the report not worth it in my opinion for anyones career and especially someone who is kn a student visa whk is looking tk get a h1b or gc in near future
They were fair with me and i was fair with them and there was no issues for me

Advice to mgmnt: if some candidates just want to give 10k and take training let them.
Create a seperate batch for them.

I know people come from far to join you because your training is the best in java still there must be a trainjng onky system

It worked out for me i hope it does for anyone wanting to join them

I wish everyone well
raj - 7/14/2015 - hi thanks for your detailed explanation..so i came across this company recently and i have a question can you please clear my confusion thanks. so i believe your h1b and couple of other people h1bs(or some kind of visa) are with this company right but how come i don't see any records of this company(like how many h1bs/GCs were applied). my concern is their are so many companies which got black listed so hope you can understand my concern thanks. hope to hear from you soon. I completed my 8 week training with my trainers. I had a wonderful experience working with them.I was like a roller coaster for me, but it was the best decision I could have ever made for my own self and I feel that it was a great value. The trainers are just wonderful and take a personal interest in clarifying all the doubts you have and make sure that you are clear with the concepts. They have a very good guest house.

I got a project only in the 5th week which was a bit disappointing. I saw people getting placed in the 1st or 2nd week after completion of the training with no experience. I had 1.5yrs java experience and got placed in 5th week of marketing.

They pay on time and took care of everything as promised.

The trainers also want to make sure you have good knowledge in the subject, so they question you every now and then.I would say that they are the best in Java. I have also seen people getting placed with my own eyes. I cant wait to get into the market.

Took training on Java from SynergisticIT. The trainer was so cool/ He explained me very nicely. My OPT extension I got only because of them. The staff is very helpful. They go ut of the way to help and solve the problems. Great part is free accommodation and reimbursement for even vegetables. They helped me to overcome my fear of interviews. They have now successfully placed me and got me good paying job. I would suggest all students (opt's/cpt's) to enroll with them for better and stable future.

Good thing about this company is that they are very transparent in whatever they are doing. I received a call from one of their recruiters and she explained the process to get on a project very clearly to me. I visited their office and was very impressed with the infrastructure and facilities provided to the trainees. They have excellent training which I feel is very important. Seriously, I never hear anything negative about them from any of their contractors, had a chance to meet some of them who are local to prepare for interviews. Please join without even thinking twice.
