You should read H1-B policy first. H1-B is not for coming here in US and find a job. It's for speciality resource a client is asking. In a single line, a person should have a project before coming here in US and that is why USCIS ask client letter. -

flag Satish Kumar - 6/14/2014 - Yes, I am from tringapps team and have been working there for last 4 years in HR. The information mentioned in this comment coincides with a firing of a senior telesales employee working out of Chennai office. All we can do is guess who this nasty person can be and I think I am spot on. Well, as we all know sales professionals have quotas and recently after 6 months of performance review we managed this person out. He made quite a scene at the office and reinforced our decision and the inherent call. The facts outlined by this gentleman are fictitious, made up and far from reality. Having worked with such a wonderful team, I take personal offense as a tringapps employee and challenge this person in court of law to substantiate anything that he claims. Further, I urge our administration to take a legal recourse as we all work very hard to create a premium brand. The lies in this comment are as follows:
1. There is no H1b employee that works out of San Fransisco office. SFO team is limited to product engineering around AgilePlus and MDM products from tringapps.
2. Like any other company, at the time of doing H1bs the projects cannot be allocated, the projects are allocated post arrival in United States.
3. tringapps has internal product teams and customer facing teams that work with media majors like HBO, Time Inc, Bloomberg, AP, GE, NBC, Universal Studio to name a few. It is tringapps RMG team to put you to product projects or customer projects. That is perfectly legal and appropriate. You have been hired for your skills and expertise and per employment agreement, the company can allocate any project (internal or external). Whats wrong in that?
All in all, no matter who this resource is .. one thing is for sure. This person has his fundas upside down. When you are hired by an org, you are hired for your capability. Making noises before proving your worth or blaming your own failures on the team or the place where you work is uncalled for. Shame on your Mr. Prab.... Prove your worth rather than writing poisonous comments on boards. -

commentUnlike a lot of low quality low calibre outsourcing shop, tringapps is a highly technical innovation driven environment. I know numerous people who clear Infosys or Cognizant interviews but fail in tringapps interview loops. By the way, has anyone seen tringapps development centers, they are at par with facebook and google offices, rather I would say that tringapps is the first modern design studio out of north america and india.
Great environment to work in if you are an intelligent IT professional. Bad for you if you you are a low hanging fruit, you will be kicked out in 3 months.

commentPer my understanding, tringapps training is extremely difficult. They put you through rigorous live app training for first 3 months, if you survive, you will turn gold but work hours can be long for sure. If you are work / life balance person, then a high tech startup is not for you anyways. tringapps is like any other engineering / product studio.

commentYeah agree. If you are a lousy developer, don't join tringapps, you will not be able to survive the rigors of real IT. The team is highly technical. Working for 2 years at tringapps will give you an industry equivalent of 4-5 years of experience.
The only time I have seen people fired from the company are when they are unable to perform or are unable to mix up well with other employees.
Most companies do that. They call it the culture fit. You have to be a good programmer and then a culture fit and the culture at tringapps is very fast paced. Not for dumbos.

commentHey guys, I have been working with tringapps for more than two years now. I was surprised to see some weirdo write negative stuff. Personally, having worked with a few companies myself, I have not seen the management think so much about their employees. Some things that I learnt while at tringapps
- tringapps average salaries are higher than their competitors
- the H1s are paid relatively less in the first year but the salaries get revised based on performance
- For an SME, per person productivity is really high
Having said that, one thing is for sure, if you are an engineer who lacks basics, you will not survive the rigors of the job as tringapps works heavily on latest technologies like Mobile, Tablets, Cloud using languages like Scala, Erlang, Objective-C, C/C++ and Java.
its not a typical "easy going" engineering outfit so this company definitely is not for the weak hearted dumb "if then else" programmers.

commentMoney is not all you need to lead a happy life. Its the satisfaction that you did something. You should feel better that you did something worth at the end of the day. Am sure you will get it here, but at the end of the day along with it u get lot of unwanted thoughts too because of their wort management. Its just like the elections, where they promise you something when they really need you, and chuck you out like nothing at anytime. Seriously, they do not know what is people management. I think they just know Money, Money and Money.
