US employers filed over 100,000 LCAs during the first 3 months of the fiscal year 2024

Myvisajobs.com recently compiled and published all labor petitions filed by U.S. employers in the first three months of fiscal year 2024. These petitions were Labor Condition Applications(LCA) for H-1B visas and permanent Labor Petitions(LC) for employment-based green cards.

From October 1, 2023, to December 31, 2023, the Department of Labor received 101,179 LCA for H-1B visa, with 899 denials and 1,652 withdrawals. They also made decisions on 24,962 labor petitions for green card, denying 1,374 and seeing 482 withdrawals.

The H-1B Cap Lottery Registration Period for fiscal year 2025 will run from March 6 to March 22. U.S. employers looking to hire foreign nationals for specialized jobs have this chance only once a year.
