WEG Critical Power, Jaragua do Sul, Santa Catarina Brazil
Industry: Electronics
Power electronics engineer at WEG since 2017, working on the development and modeling of double-conversion UPS systems, including control algorithms, embedded firmware, and compliance with international standards.
Since 2017, I have been working as a power electronics engineer at WEG Drives and Controls, in the Critical Power Systems division. My main responsibilities include designing and modeling double-conversion UPS systems, implementing digital control for DC-DC, AC-DC, and DC-AC converters, and developing firmware in C for embedded platforms.
I work extensively with power factor correction (PFC), synchronization, protection mechanisms, and communication protocols. I also use tools such as PSIM, MATLAB/Simulink for control simulations, and version control systems like Git and SVN for firmware organization.
In addition to development tasks, I provide technical support to manufacturing and field teams, and perform testing according to IEC standards. My work contributes directly to the innovation and reliability of WEG's critical power products.--
