Worked for Harvard Pilgrim Health care and CMS federal to migrate oracle EBS from AIX to Exadata and exalogic.
• Setup Active guard for the SIT instances. • Resolved issues related to concurrent program slowness. In many of the cases, we found the fault sql_id and tuned those sql_id. • Installed, configured, integrated Demantra with R12.2.4 and bounces the instances as and when needed. • Implementing RWB tool from Polaris to replace Oracle discoverer. Since, Oracle is not providing new discoverer versions, TO achieve many business needs, reports work bench (RWB) from Polaris is a very good option. We attended the initial product description meetings, understood the concept of RWB and integrated the RWB with E-Business Suite environment. • Done several performances tuning activities in database as well as application like compression, table partitioning, re-org, and index rebuild, export and import of PLAN_HASH_VALUES for any poorly performed SQL_IDs. • Implemented RMAN backup strategy for all the database instances as per the business requirements. • For HPHC, there is no centralised repository for all the EBS SOPs, inventory. Prepared Documents for Inventory consolidation, created SOPs for the tasks needed and uploaded them to SharePoint. • Performed 11.2.0.4 to 12.1.0.2 database upgrade for all the EBS databases. In the process of upgrade, we prepared a clear high level and low level design documents with clear steps to be followed to upgrade the database to 12.1.0.2. • Migrated Oracle Apex from 10gAS to WebLogic on exalogic systems. Earlier, we have oracle apex installed on physical servers and now we have migrated Oracle Apex to WebLogic using ORDS in Exalogic environment. • Upgraded Oracle Apex from 4.2.6 to 5.0.4 on 12.1.0.2 databases--

• Worked as a Sr.Principal Apps DBA- Project Management and Operations (PMO) by being a part of Project Management Team (PMO). • Majorly working on performance issues related to EBS and normal oracle databases from APPS DBA perspective, Meeting the deadlines of the project, conductions the status meetings and approving any changes that need to be carried out.
• Activities include Project Management, System/Data Analysis, and Customer Interface for all the Business units. • Worked on the EBS databases of size 14 terabytes (TB) like data analysis, performance issues, approving the maintenance, critical downtimes. • By being a part of Project Management and operations group (PMO), every maintenance, implementations, parameter changes, emergency or planned instance bounces and tasks needs to be technically reviewed and approved by PMO DBA group. Performed technical reviews as and when required and approved the tasks and suggested for any betterments in the plans. • Having good knowledge on oracle Golden Gate • Extensively worked on oracle Single Sign on implementation with Oracle EBS. • Worked on Golden gate implementation Project. Since Golden Gate is not able to replicate few of the objects and data types in E-Business Suite Environment, the project has been called off. • Extensively worked on Oracle E-Business suite upgrade projects like 12.1.3 to 12.2.4 upgrade. As a part of the upgrade prepared the technical architecture diagram, prepared high level design. Since R12.2 is new by the time we are implementing, raised SRs with Oracle support to get the latest updates on software binaries and implementation Process. Prepared pre-requisites, binaries installation, configuration, online patching enablement, ADX and TXK DELTA patches application, R12.2.4 RUP patch application to upgrade from R12.2.0 to R.12.2.4. Successfully finished the project and made R12.2.4 live in major 8 environments. • Well versed with R12.2 patching cycle process, cloning of R12.2 instance and did much iteration. • Prepared High level design documentation, understand the methodologies of R12.2.5 implementation, provided the server configuration information for procuring the servers and Implemented R12.2.5 instance for Emerson Process Management. • Supporting the boundary systems for EBS like OBIEE, Archival applications, Demantra and VCP applications.--
