• Deep understanding of WLAN technologies and network management, including IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac WLAN standards and industry best practices
• Must have excellent time management, oral and written communication skills, and the ability to troubleshoot problems quickly. Education: 2 Requirement: JOB TITLE : Wireless Engineer Description: Must have at least eight years of work experience in Wi-Fi Planning, Design, and optimization. Familiar with 802.11 standards and Wi-Fi alliance developments. Experience with CBRS design and RF planning tools is a must.
• Deep understanding of IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax networks.
• Expertise with, design, and deployment in large, complex, high-density, large venues and/or sports, entertainment facilities, and outdoor environments
• Expert understanding of site survey, predictive design, and post-design validation using Ekahau Air magnet and iBwave.
• Integrate knowledge of building construction, RF behavioral characteristics, and current hardware vendor limitations to create a design proposal.
• Expert level understanding of various antenna types, their uses, and demerits
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP protocols, IP networking, and familiarity with Unix commands
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Ruckus controllers, and Access Point with knowledge of vendor-specific systems like Cisco Prime, SCI, DNAC, etc.
• Hands-on experience configuring controller-based and autonomous access points and in-depth understanding of Spectrum and packet capture/analysis.
